After Nico Paz hit the bull's eye in the 84th minute, Madrid once again took control of the match. Bellingham continued to be in the thick of action as he churned out a sensational assist with his outside boot for Joselu who buried the chance in added time to make amends for missing three gilt-edged opportunities earlier in the match.
After scoring the goal, Joselu immediately apologised to the ever-demanding Bernabeu crowd for squandering the earlier chances. But Bellingham ensured that the Spanish striker soaked in the applause as he pointed towards him to indicate that the former Stoke man deserved the credit for the goal as he pushed him towards the gallery.

Speaking to reporters after the match, Bellingham said: "We are one big family [this team], if one of us is having a bad time it’s important we all get behind him (Joselu). It's about pushing your teammate, your friend over the line. We know what he can do when the ball's delivered in the right area. Tonight he put a few wide but that's the life of a ST. It was important for me to look for him more than anything. Especially in that area of the pitch. I'm so happy for him."
