Sheffield Wednesday finally won a game this week.
The Owls have been waiting for a long time for a victory, with their previous victory before the Charlton game coming on January 11th against Leeds United.
The Yorkshire club have been in poor form, but this really could be a turning point for their season after Steven Fletcher’s late goal secured all three points against the Addicks.
Wednesday will be desperate to build on that win, and after a week of poor results from the playoff-chasing sides, the Steel City outfit are now only eight points off the top six, and a run of wins would put them back in contention.

The old adage is ‘don’t change a winning team’, but we expect Monk to tinker with his starting XI a little bit ahead of their next game against Derby.
Sheffield Wednesday kept their first clean sheet since February 1st against Charlton, so we don’t expect Monk to do much with his backline.
Cameron Dawson remains in goal as there’s still no sign of Keiren Westwood returning to the first-team after being frozen out.
Liam Palmer and Morgan Fox start at full-back once again, meaning that there’s no place for Osaze Urhoghide who is yet to regain his place after being sent off against Reading.
Dominic Iorfa is another notable absentee after he was dropped in favour of Tom Lees, who plays alongside Julian Borner.
The midfield has a similar look with Barry Bannan and Kieran Lee holding the fort in the deeper roles.
There is a slight change in that Fernando Forestieri has dropped back into a number 10 role after an unsuccessful game playing as a striker, hitting eight shots off target.
Kadeem Harris and Jacob Murphy keep their spots on the wing, but Connor Wickham is relegated to the bench as Steven Fletcher starts after netting for the first time since his return from injury.
In other news, one summer signing has been letting Sheffield Wednesday down.
